A clear photo, distinctive markings and an up-to-date description can help someone recognise your pet. Add these details to your BifrostPet account before you need them, and return to My Pets whenever something changes.
The details that make them unique
Record their name, breed, appearance and distinguishing features. Keep the information accurate as they grow.
If your pet goes missing
Activate Lost Mode
Open your pet’s profile in My Pets and select the option to report them missing. Add the last-seen area, time and useful identifying information.
Share your missing-pet alert
Use the alert link and sharing tools to reach people who may be able to help. Share the link with relevant local groups, shelters or people you know.
Manage messages and updates
People with information can send a private message through the alert page. Review messages in your account, keep the alert updated, and mark your pet found when they are safely home.
You control where you share the alert. BifrostPet does not automatically notify local groups or shelters.
A public alert, with private contact details
An active alert displays the pet photos and missing-pet information you submit. Share only details you want others to see. Your personal contact details are not displayed on the alert; people can contact you through its message form.

Where do I create or update a pet profile?
Select My Pets and sign in. You can add a pet, update their photos and details, or manage an existing missing alert.
Can BifrostPet track my pet’s live location?
No. These tools provide pet profiles, shareable missing-pet alerts and private contact forms. They do not provide GPS tracking or automatic location detection.
Does this replace a microchip or guarantee my pet will be found?
No. BifrostPet offers an additional way to share information and receive messages. Continue to use appropriate identification and contact local shelters, veterinary practices and relevant authorities when a pet goes missing. Finding a pet cannot be guaranteed.
Do I need a pet profile to buy a keepsake?
No. You can explore our keepsakes and check out as a guest. Creating and maintaining a pet profile is a separate choice.
What should I do when my pet is home?
Open the missing alert in your account and mark your pet found. Update anyone you shared the alert with so they know the search is closed.
